SMS and Text Messaging
If you opt in to receive text messages from us — by checking the optional SMS consent box on our text updates sign-up form, which is unchecked by default and never required — we may send you service-related messages regarding your projects, appointments, and account. That web form is the only way we enroll a mobile number in our messaging program. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience on our website. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We may use Google Analytics and similar services to analyze website traffic.
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), analytics (Google Analytics, Cloudflare), and hosting (Cloudflare). These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data. We never share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or messaging consent information with these or any other third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Google User Data
Some of the tools we build for our clients connect to that client’s own Google account, with their explicit permission, so the tool can do the job it was built for. A scheduling page, for example, needs to read a business owner’s calendar in order to show customers when they are genuinely free.
What we access. Only the specific Google data a feature requires, and only after the account holder has granted access through Google’s own consent screen. For calendar scheduling this is: the times marked busy or free on the connected calendar, the calendar’s time zone, and the ability to create and remove the appointments booked through that tool. We do not read the contents, titles, guests or notes of a person’s existing calendar events.
How we use it. Solely to provide the requested feature to the account holder: calculating which appointment times to offer, preventing double bookings, and writing a confirmed appointment onto their calendar. Nothing more.
How we store it. The authorization Google issues is stored encrypted, and the appointment details submitted by the person booking are stored so the account holder has a record of their own bookings. We do not copy or retain a client’s wider calendar.
What we never do. We do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to build profiles, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to run the service the account holder asked for, or where the law requires it.
Limited Use. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access. An account holder can disconnect us at any time from their Google account security settings, at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by asking us to disconnect it for them. Once revoked we can no longer read or write anything, and we delete the stored authorization. Email us to have the associated booking records deleted as well.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption, secure hosting, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. To exercise your rights, contact us at the information below.
Children\u2019s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
